Have you experienced flooding or damage to your home in the recent years’ storms? Have you lost power due to high wind weather events? Are you distressed by the plastics littering our town and waterfront? Have you experienced health problems related to declining air quality, increased pollen counts, or other environmental factors?
If so, or if you have other experiences to share, than you have an important story that must be heard! Stories from this workshop will be part of the Town of North Hempstead’s Public Engagement Plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to a changing climate.
