Wishing all a very happy 2023! As we begin this New Year, it is a good time to reflect on what is important to all of us and to set intentions and goals for the months to come. With a million species of plants and animals at risk of extinction within decades, record high temperatures in Europe and the Northeast, and record winter storms in the South and West, we must act now to change course and protect our earth and our collective future.

At Transition Town Port Washington we are working to create more sustainable and resilient communities through individual actions and collaborations. We have created a list of things each of us can do this year to further this goal.
