Bring the whole Family for a night in the great outdoors on the grounds of the Leeds Pond Preserve. Every other Thursday night during the summer, there will be a band, a food truck, guest speakers, science activities and more. This Thursday: The Pulse, The Bubbly Bar and Yankee Doodle Dandy. Set up your lawn chair, spread out your blanket with a picnic, take a walk in the woods, watch the sunset over Manhasset Bay. Come see us at the Transition Town Port Washington table where Weber student, Isaac Graubard of North Shore Refills will be selling his terrific soaps, shampoos and laundry detergents. Bring your empty containers and fill them up. You will love NSR products - all natural and environmentally-friendly of course! SMLI is a Nassau County Park, so remember to take home everything that you bring in.
